Hi! I’m Ted

We are a family-owned furniture design and woodworking studio based in North Carolina –  a region long known as the heart of American furniture craftsmanship.

My story begins far from here, in a small town in Eastern Siberia, where I grew up in a family of woodworkers. Since 1981, my grandfather and father crafted furniture from Siberian cedar and larch, and their workshop became my second home. The scent of fresh shavings, the rhythm of hand tools, the joy of turning raw wood into something meaningful – these memories shaped who I am.

Over time, mass-produced furniture flooded the global market. Quality gave way to low cost, and the tradition of making solid wood furniture with care and intention began to fade.

When my family and I moved to the United States in 2016, I felt a strong desire to preserve the craft I grew up with and support the culture of small-scale woodworking studios. Here in America – home to rich species like walnut, oak, and ash – we opened our own workshop and began creating nightstands, dressers, and media cabinets made entirely from solid wood.

Each piece is built the way my family taught me: with precision, respect for the material, and a deep belief that furniture should serve for decades, not seasons.
